Our Farm

Kane Plantation is a 27 acre avocado farm  in the cool foot hills of Mauna Loa. The micro climate in Honaunau is ideal for growing avocado, as well as all the wonderful tropical fruits and flowers we use in the B&B. We grow Sharwil, Kahalu'u and other Hawaiian avocado varieties, and work with other local farmers to pack and ship avocados to the US mainland and Hawaiian markets from October to April each year. Our groves and Packinghouse are certified for food safety and certified organic. We take pride in farming sustainably and responsibly and protecting our beautiful environment.
